Giants could give Jaxson Dart another weapon in early 2027 mock draft

With the 2026 NFL Draft officially over, it's time for what's next: to take a look at mocks for the 2027 NFL Draft. In his first draft as head coach of the New York Giants, John Harbaugh made his presence felt. He took foundation pieces in Arvell Reese and Francis Mauigoa in round one.

Then they opted for playmakers on both sides of the ball with Colton Hood and Malachi Fields in rounds two and three. But why stop the good times just because we've put a bow on '26?

In his article, Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski keeps the playmaker trend going with the Giants taking Indiana Receiver Nick Marsh in the first round. The junior spent the first two years of his college career at Michigan State, amassing more than 1,300 yards on 100 receptions, nine of those for touchdowns.

Marsh averaged 13 yards per catch with some not-so-great quarterback play in East Lansing, so imagine what he can do transferring to the defending champions, who snagged one of the best quarterbacks out of the portal in Josh Hoover.

As a prospect, Marsh is about as ideal as they come. He's a 6-foot-33 200-pound demon who can also run a 4.38-second 40-yard dash. He can catch at all three levels of the field and is physically strong enough to run through tacklers, as he already has more than 30 missed tackles in his career. His nine percent drop rate isn't anything to ignore, but you hope that going to a Curt Cignetti-coached program can buff out those scratches before the draft rolls around.

Giants would become a true threat in the NFC if they added Nick Marsh

The G-Men liked Fields so much they gave up multiple picks and traded up to get him. If he is as good as the Giants value him, he could be the steal of the draft.

Now, picture this. It's training camp in 2027, and Big Blue's receiving corps is Malik Nabers, fully healthy after a torn ACL in 2025, Fields after a great rookie campaign, and the incoming rookie, Marsh. This easily becomes one of, if not the best, receiving trios not only in the NFC but also in the entire league.

Dart would be entering his third year as the starter and a full year with Harbaugh as his coach already under his belt. Not to mention he'd still have Cam Skattebo and Isaiah Likely at his disposal. Pair this offense with the revamped defense, all being coached by Harbaugh, and there's no reason they shouldn't be a contender. If Marsh is available for the GMen in 2027, he needs to be the pick.

The only problem with this mock draft is the Giants are picking in the top 15 to get him.
