Draft season never officially ends, at least for NFL scouts. While the New York Giants take the field for their early regular season action, their front office will be studying the tape of top college prospects in hopes of finding stars for the 2027 NFL Draft.
Luckily for Big Blue, the upcoming class holds exactly what the roster needs. It should be full of cornerbacks, wide receivers, defensive tackles, and offensive linemen worth drafting early.
They'll already have these 25 prospects on their board as the season kicks into gear.

25. Jadan Baugh, Florida RB
As electric as Cam Skattebo's physical running style can be, he might not be a reliable starter moving forward. The upcoming class will give the Giants opportunities to pivot.
Baugh is a well-rounded back with the speed and size to stay on the field for every down. He could push John Harbaugh's downhill philosophy to the next level.
24. Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon EDGE
The G-Men are set on the edge at the moment, but Kayvon Thibodeaux is playing on his fifth-year option this year. If he walks in 2027, Uiagalelei could be the perfect piece to add to Brian Burns and Abdul Carter. He's a strong run defender who could even kick to the inside on passing downs.
23. KJ Duff, Rutgers WR
A six-foot-six "X" receiver with elite contested catch skills? Where do we sign up?
Duff has some bumps to iron out in his game, but his physical profile is undeniable. He could be the 100th percentile outcome of what the Giants are hoping Malachi Fields can become.
22. Austin Siereveld, Ohio State G
Get used to interior offensive lineman talk in the lead-up to the 2027 draft. The Giants will likely look to upgrade at left guard, as Jon Runyan is arguably the weak link in the starting line this season. While Siereveld plays tackle at Ohio State, he has experience at guard and could move back inside in the pros.
21. Carter Smith, Indiana G
Another tackle who is expected to move inside at the next level, Smith is one of the most consistent pass-blockers in the country. He allowed pressure on just 1.2% of his pass-blocking snaps last season.
20. Ahmad Hardy, Missouri RB
Hardy comes with some longevity concerns, as he has logged almost 500 carries over the last two seasons, but his production is unmatched. He led the country in rushing attempts of over 15 yards last year.
19. Sammy Brown, Clemson LB
After adding Tremaine Edmunds and Arvell Reese this offseason, the Giants may not hold the off-ball linebacker position as a priority in next year's draft. Brown is still talented enough to consider, though. He's physical in run defense and has the track speed to match.
18. Koi Perich, Oregon S
Tyler Nubin and Jevon Holland haven't been the dynamic safety duo that the Giants were hoping for. Reinforcements are available in next year's class, though, and Perich may be the best of the bunch. He could hold up as a slot defender or as a deep safety at the next level.
17. Cayden Green, Missouri G
Back to the tackle-to-guard candidates, Green moved outside in a pinch last season and played at a high level. Still, the Missouri prospect's skill set suggests that he's better off moving back to guard in the NFL.
16. Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss RB
Two dozen rushing touchdowns in a season will grab the attention of any NFL scout. Lacy has a nose for the end zone and plays bigger than his 200-pound frame would indicate. He would be a solid starter for Big Blue.
15. Kade Pieper, Iowa C
John Michael Schmitz is entering the final year of his rookie contract. If the Giants let him walk, they'll be looking for a replacement. Pieper is one of the top center prospects in the 2027 draft class. He's physical, athletic, and looks NFL-ready on the interior.
14. Iapani Laloulu, Oregon C
In 1,226 career pass-blocking snaps, Laloulu has allowed just 23 pressures. He's the best pass-protecting center in the class, full stop. While his run-blocking work doesn't match his protection, he would be an instant starter in New York.
13. Ashton Hampton, Clemson CB
The Giants don't currently have any outside cornerbacks that warrant much trust. Paulson Adebo and Greg Newsome II are starters by default, with Deonte Banks and rookie Colton Hood rotating in. The 2027 class gives general manager Joe Schoen an opportunity to find a long-term starter at the position. Hampton is well-rounded and could fit in any scheme.
12. Justin Scott, Miami DT
The Hurricanes head into the season with one of the best defensive tackle duos in recent college football history. Scott brings elite burst and strength to the table and is formidable against both the run and the pass.
11. Omarion Miller, Arizona State WR
This class is full of big-bodied receivers who can win in contested catch situations. Miller won 11 of his 18 contested catch opportunities last season. He could man the "X" receiver role for the Giants.

10. Trevor Goosby, Texas OT
The Giants aren't likely to be looking for a true offensive tackle next year with Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor already in-house, but Goosby is too intriguing to leave out. He enters the season as the top tackle prospect in the country.
9. Charlie Becker, Indiana WR
Becker has the physical, vertical style that the G-Men have been looking to pair with Nabers. The Indiana wideout was a contested catch machine late in the 2025 season and should step into a bigger role this year.
8. Will Echoles, Ole Miss DT
Echoles is a stout run defender who could take the reins from DJ Reader at nose tackle. He also brings some juice as a pass rusher, producing five sacks in 2025.
7. Ahmad Moten Sr., Miami DT
The other half of Miami's defensive tackle duo, Moten Sr. can line up as a nose tackle or as a three-technique. His combination of size and athleticism would force opposing offenses to account for him on every play.
6. David Stone, Oklahoma DT
If you haven't noticed yet, this class is stacked with interior defenders who could immediately start for the Giants. Stone thrives as a run stuffer, commanding double teams and giving his linebackers opportunities to make easy tackles.
5. Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia CB
Robinson IV is one of the more technically sound players in this class. He came down with four interceptions and deflected three passes last season. The Georgia prospect would be worth a first-round selection for the G-Men.
4. A'Mauri Washington, Oregon DT
Washington may be the most talented player on an elite Oregon defense this year. He could have been a first-round pick in 2026, but he decided to return for one more season with the Ducks. He's a dominant run-stuffer with solid technique as a pass-rusher.
3. Cam Coleman, Texas WR
After transferring from Auburn to Texas to play with Arch Manning, Coleman should see a major increase in production this year. He's dominant on the outside and has the speed to threaten defenses over the top.
2. Leonard Moore, Notre Dame CB
Moore is one of the rare cornerbacks who is worthy of a top-three draft pick. If he entered the NFL today, he'd likely be a top-ten player at his position. He can lock down top receivers in man coverage and has impressive instincts in zone.
1. Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State WR
Hopefully, the Giants won't be selecting early enough to take Smith. But if the 2026 season doesn't go to plan, the Ohio State wideout is no small consolation prize. He's the best prospect at the position to come out in years and could immediately give New York the top receiving duo in football if paired with Nabers.
