The New York Giants (2-11) are still searching for their first home win of the season, but let’s be real—this is as uphill as it gets. The Baltimore Ravens (8-5) come into MetLife Stadium fresh off a bye, rested, and with plenty to play for as they chase the Steelers in the AFC North.

For the Giants, it’s another week of trying to survive in a season that’s gone off the rails. Injuries have decimated their defense, with their top tacklers, safety Tyler Nubin and linebacker Bobby Okereke, both out. As if that wasn’t bad enough, starting quarterback Drew Lock is doubtful with heel and elbow issues, meaning backup Tommy DeVito will get the nod.

The challenge is clear: contain Lamar Jackson. Easier said than done when Jackson is operating at an MVP level, leading the NFL in passer rating (116.3) while staying deadly on the ground. The Giants’ defense is no stranger to giving up big plays, and Baltimore’s offense thrives on them. Derrick Henry is licking his chops at the chance to face a run defense that’s ranked near the bottom of the league, and Mark Andrews could set a franchise record for touchdowns.

For Giants fans, this is about evaluating talent for the future. Rookie wideout Malik Nabers has shown flashes, and he’ll be a key piece of their game plan against a Ravens secondary led by standout rookie Nate Wiggins.

Injuries have left the Giants shorthanded, but you can’t count them out entirely. Stranger things have happened in the NFL. Just don’t bet the house on it.

  • Dru Phillips, CB
  • Cor’Dale Flott, CB
  • Bobby Okereke, ILB
  • Rakeem Nunez-Roches, DL
  • Drew Lock, QB

The Giants’ defense is limping into Week 15, especially in the secondary. Rookie standout Dru Phillips is out, and second-year corner Deonte Banks won’t suit up either. That leaves a big question: who’s covering the Ravens' deep and speedy receiving corps?

It gets worse—defensive anchor Dexter Lawrence is on IR, and captain Bobby Okereke will miss this one too. With so many impact players sidelined (Tyler Nubin, Jon Runyan, etc.), the Giants’ defense faces a massive challenge against one of the league’s most explosive offenses.

The Ravens don't have many polarizing players injured. They are rolling into Week 15 with unprecedented health. One thing to note is WR Diontae Johnson will not be playing due to his team-enforced suspension from not wanting to play against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.
