Jermaine Eluemunor isn’t done playing offensive line for the New York Giants, but that isn’t stopping him from moonlighting as an unofficial front-office consultant. The veteran lineman has taken a liking to sharing his thoughts on roster building, and his latest scouting report? Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins.

After watching a Senior Bowl practice clip of Higgins absolutely cooking his defender, Eluemunor took to social media to make his stance known: Him, Leek, and Wandale will do numbers in 2025.

It’s just the latest example of Eluemunor playfully dabbling in general manager duties this offseason.

This isn’t the first time he’s done this, this offseason either. Just a few weeks ago, he was doing his best recruiting job on potential free agent and Ravens All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey, trying to lure him to Big Blue. It’s all in good fun, of course, but you can tell Eluemunor wants to see this team turn things around in 2025.

Jermaine Eluemunor is pulling out all the stops to help the Giants this offseason

Eluemunor shouting out Higgins isn’t just noise. The Giants desperately need a big-bodied receiver to complement their offense. Malik Nabers is a do-it-all rising star, and Wan’Dale Robinson is a chain-mover, but a 6-foot-4, 215-pound contested-catch specialist like Higgins? That’s exactly what the Giants are missing.

Higgins’ production in college speaks for itself. He caught 87 passes for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns last season. His scouting profile? High football IQ, reliable hands, and a knack for finding soft spots in zone coverage. He’s currently projected as a late third to early fourth-round pick, but if he keeps putting defenders in blenders throughout the pre-draft process, he could climb higher.

Eluemunor clearly sees the fit. The Giants need to put more weapons around whoever their quarterback is in 2025, and Higgins would be a perfect addition. Given the Giants have several other needs to address in free agency, drafting a receiver of Higgins’ caliber would be a smart way to build the offense on the cheap.

And let’s be real—this isn’t Eluemunor actually trying to become the Giants' next director of scouting. He’s just a guy who wants to win and wants the best players on his team. Whether it’s pitching to Humphrey or hyping up Higgins, he’s doing his part to get the Giants back into contention. If GM Joe Schoen wants to throw him a scouting intern title for the fun of it, who’s complaining?
