The New York Giants are not in a particularly enviable position right now, despite a strong NFL Draft class from Joe Schoen last year. This team still needs to find out what they are going to do at the quarterback position and face the reality of playing in a brutally difficult division.

The Giants currently have the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and they know what a valuable asset that is. Now that the NFL Combine is officially in the past, the Giants likely have a better idea of what positions and players they want to target.

The Giants could land a franchise quarterback, get him a weapon who could play immediately during his rookie season, and land a starter on defense who supplements an improving unit on that side of the ball. All Schoen has to do is follow the plan in this 3-round NFL Mock Draft.

New York Giants post-Combine 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 3: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Sanders may not be everyone's cup of tea as a prospect, as he holds the ball for a long time and doesn't have a very explosive arm. However, Sanders may be the most pro-ready quarterback in this class, and his accuracy on intermediate and deeper throws is very impressive.

Sanders has repeatedly earned high marks for his accuracy and quality football brain. Having revived two struggling programs in Jackson State and Colorado when he arrived, Sanders has the ability to arrive in a bad situation and gradually turn it around. This should appeal to the woebegone Giants.

Round 2, Pick 34: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Morrison may end up falling out of the first round despite the weak cornerback class, teams could be just a bit unnerved by his injury history. His fall should stop right around here, however. The Giants, prompted by a huge regression from Deonte Banks, know they need to bring in someone who can push him for his starting job.

Morrison is a quality athlete with good ball skills, as his ability to quickly process and jump routes gives him legitimate Pro Bowl potential in the pros if developed properly. The Giants have one up-and-coming cornerback in Andru Phillips, and Morrison could continue building upon their young defensive back menagerie.

Round 3, Pick 65: Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas

Bond ended up with egg on his face after a slower-than-expected 40-yard dash following boasts about breaking the record, but he is still one of the fastest players in this class. His speed on film is obvious, and he could make for a deadly tandem alongside Malik Nabers.

Bond is never going to be the physical presence teams will want to target on third down and in the red zone, but he can burn up the field and make defenders miss when he has the ball in his hands. It will be very difficult for defenses to cover the entire field when both Bond and Nabers are streaking down the field as they try to catch a Sanders deep shot.
