At 2-11 and riding a seven-game losing streak, the New York Giants are hoping these last four games can be a stepping stone for 2026.
Fresh off their bye week, the G-Men are slated to return this week to take on their NFC East rivals, the Washington Commanders, who are also on a seven-game losing skid and have been decimated by injuries as well.
While New York has nothing to play for with their dismal record, the MetLife faithful should at least be happy that they will see their hopeful franchise quarterback, Jaxson Dart, make his first home start in nearly a month. However, leading up to this game, Big Blue's Week 15 power ranking speaks for how this season has gone for them.
Giants near the bottom in B/R's Week 15 Power Rankings
Bleacher Report came out with their Week 15 power rankings across the NFL. When it came time to rank the Giants, to no one's surprise, they're hovering towards the bottom, ranked 30th in front of only the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans.
"New York has a promising young quarterback in Jaxson Dart, its roster boasts some other exciting young playmakers—though not all of them are healthy right now—and the Giants will have a new coach next season," the article wrote. "Next season can't get here soon enough, though. New York has already been eliminated from playoff contention, and interim coach Mike Kafka isn't working his way into the full-time job."

While the article does reiterate that the Giants may finally have a quarterback in Dart, their record is what it is: a woeful 2-11.
Big Blue is also 0-3 in the Mike Kafka era, with two crushing losses to the Green Bay Packers in Week 11 and the Detroit Lions in Week 12 -- blowing another double-digit fourth-quarter lead -- followed by an embarrassing defeat to the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football.
2026 can't come soon enough for the Giants, and the only hope for this will be that Dart can remain healthy next season and hit a home run on their next head coaching hire.
