The New York Giants are horrid; that much is not new information. However, the latest rumblings before their matchup against the Baltimore Ravens suggest they have devolved to the point where even executing basic parts of a football gameplan has been too complex for them.

The Giants are once again shuffling their quarterbacks, as Drew Lock's injury will likely force Tommy DeVito into the starting lineup. In what should be tough conditions, the latest reports from Giants practice make it seem like fans had better prepare for another extremely limited,

According to Jordan Raanan, the Giants did not complete a single pass out of 17 attempts during a red zone drill amid some heavy winds and cold. 17 attempts and not one success goes beyond the level of your regular kind of regular humiliation, even with 30 MPH winds.

The Giants not only have to prepare for a game against one of the best teams in the league in the Baltimore Ravens, but they will do so in a classic New Jersey December day that is just above freezing with double-digit winds.

Giants conduct horrendous practice with 17 straight incompletions before Week 15

The weather could play into Baltimore's hands in this one. You don't even have to be a football savant to know that running the ball with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry as a result of the elements of probably a better strategy than Tyrone Tracy carrying the load.

Fans may want a loss in this game, as they will move one step closer to selecting either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft. Still, these players and coaches are not tanking. They're fighting for their jobs. For them, this is going to be a rough exercise.

The Giants are just playing out the string on the 2024 season, reevaluating if Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen are the right guys to get this team turned around when the year comes to a close. The next four games will be about evaluating the talent this team has on the roster.

The Giants have now regressed to such an infantile offensive state that even completing passes in practice, adverse conditions and all, is too much to ask. Purely from a quality aspect, these next four games could be some seriously rough sledding.
