Nick Sirianni's postgame quote over beef with Eagles fans is great for the Giants

It's getting easier to dislike this guy.

There's just something about this guy that NY Giants fans dislike quite a bit. Matter of fact, the one thing Giants, Cowboys and Commanders supporters might be able to agree on is that Nick Sirianni is a complete and total clown.

That was once again the case on Sunday in Philly's 20-16 win over the Browns. It was an ugly game, no other way to put it. The Eagles offense looked terrible and the same could be said for the lowly Browns. Still, Sirianni's men were able to do just what was needed to improve to 3-2.

Despite that win, people in the stands did not like what they saw, with Sirianni spotted going back and forth with them. Yeah, not a good look for a head coach. Sirianni only made things worse by shrugging things off and pretending like nothing happened. Now, all week, this is going to be a major topic of conversation. A distraction for the Eagles? Yup, thanks to Mr Sirianni it is:

Alrighty then. Sirianni has been a winner with his team, we'll give him that, but not many people are overly impressed with how things have been looking of late. Philly entered the campaign with Super Bowl aspirations, especially after making the splash move to sign Saquon Barkley.

This came after the Eagles bowed out early in the postseason last winter, suffering a stunning loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There was plenty of heat on Sirianni then and there's going to be more if this kind of sluggish play continues.

What kind of a message is he sending if he's jawing back and forth with the die-hard, passionate Philly faithful? Not a good one. Come Week 7, the Eagles and Giants will face off and it's sure to be an interesting battle.

The Giants roughed up the Eagles last season at MetLife Stadium and fans are hopeful more of the same will be on the way for the first dance between the two rivals in 2024. People all over New York and New Jersey would love nothing more than for Sirianni to be served some humble pie courtesy of a victory for the G-Men.
