As we all know by now, NY Giants general manager Joe Schoen worked his tail off this past offseason to improve the team on both sides of the ball. He let Saquon Barkley and Xavier McKinney leave town, but he brought in big names like Malik Nabers and Brian Burns. However, it's the underrated moves that are paying off big time for him.

In the Week 5 win over the Seahawks, fifth-round pick Tyrone Tracy Jr. looked like a first-rounder, rushing for 129 yards. The offensive line did a spectacular job in opening up holes for him, while also keeping Daniel Jones upright all game. Speaking of the offensive line, how about the play of right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor?

Originally, Eluemunor was brought in to play left guard, while Evan Neal was going to be given yet another chance to prove his worth at right tackle. However, with Neal still recovering from his ankle injury, Eluemunor moved to right tackle, Jon Runyan Jr. moved to left guard and Greg Van Roten took over at RG. In Seattle, Eluemunor had another strong showing. He didn't let anyone even breathe on Jones:

According to Pro Football Focus, the veteran hoss was one of eight offensive tackles across the league to not give up a single pressure. On a $14 million contract over two campaigns, the Eluemunor addition is looking like a complete and total steal for Schoen and Co.

Eluemunor is the definition of a blue-collar worker in the trenches. He's not a flashy player, but he just puts his head down, clocks in and takes care of business whenever he's on the gridiron. He's been giving opposing pass-rushers fits. Matter of fact, the entire Big Blue offensive line has been fun to watch, silencing so many critics in the process.

Eluemunor himself has seen all the hate the Giants linemen have received at times, but no one can argue with that fact that they're getting better with each week. On top of that, it's allowing for Jones to play at a high level.

His 257 yards and two scores at Lumen Field were just what the doctor ordered. Another big game could be on the way against the Bengals for Sunday Night Football. Eluemunor and his OL mates will see to it that he's put in the best position to ball out.
