If you weren't excited about the New York Giants during offseason programs, this team just gave us a reminder of what lies ahead. After wrapping up veterans' minicamp last week, we enter a month-long gap of nothingness before training camp kicks off. However, the team's official social media accounts have just given us a whole new reason to get excited about this squad in 2025.

The New York Giants' official X account released a photo from Giants' media day, and this aura says it all.

Pictured in the viral photo above are two talented players entering their second seasons with the New York Giants: edge rusher Brian Burns and wide receiver Malik Nabers. Burns is rocking the blue Spiderman visor, while Nabers' drip includes his custom 'Leek' chain and visor.

The numbers couldn't be more fitting for these respective players. These aren't new to the 2025 season, but Burns (No. 0) and Nabers (No. 1) have the lowest numbers on the team, almost as if to say we are the top players to build around.

The future for the New York Giants looks bright (but fans must exercise patience)

The New York Giants' media day was a reminder we all needed of the impressive talent on the roster. After going 9-25 collectively over the past two seasons, it can be easy to get discouraged. But hope is in the future.

Unfortunately, this team isn't out of the weeds just yet. It's going to take patience. The NFC East is currently crowded. The Washington Commanders are emerging with quarterback Jayden Daniels, while the Dallas Cowboys could see a resurgence in 2025 after the return of Dak Prescott. Oh, and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles are here as well.

That's why it's essential to look beyond the 2025 season and take note of the foundational building blocks already in place. In addition to Brian Burns and Malik Nabers, Andrew Thomas and Dexter Lawrence are at the prime of their careers, while Andru Philips proved to be an excellent slot cornerback as a rookie in 2024. Now with rookie phenom Abdul Carter and the hope of a franchise quarterback in Jaxson Dart, there's more reason than ever to be encouraged.

If nothing else, this viral photo showed us that, if the Giants are to go down swinging in 2025, at least they'll do it looking good.
