1. WR Darius Slayton

Like Hyatt, the Giants could move Darius Slayton before this year's trade deadline. Slayton has been the subject of trade rumors for some time now. The veteran wideout sat out of team activities during the offseason because he wanted to restructure his contract. He was named a trade candidate then and could still be on the table for the Giants to move for draft capital.

While Slayton has been the team's leading receiver for four of the last five years, he may be the odd man out now, especially with Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson emerging as future stars for the Giants. Slayton could help several other WR rooms around the league, including the Kansas City Chiefs, and would help the Giants by adding draft capital.

Slayton is a cheaper option than other receivers, such as Devante Adams or Amari Cooper, who could be traded this season. The return for Slayton for the Giants could get a 2025 fourth-round or fifth-round pick back for the veteran. If the Giants decide to go in this direction and trade Slayton, it would allow Hyatt to move ahead on New York's depth chart and get more opportunities, or the team could bring up Isaiah Hodgins off their practice squad.
