5 bold New York Giants predictions for the 2024 campaign
1. Daniel Jones misses more time in 2024
After signing a four-year, $160 million contract last offseason, Daniel Jones had a brutal 2023. He played in just six games for the G-Men, as a neck injury and torn ACL saw his 2023 season get cut short. Injuries have become a common theme for the Giants signal-caller. Unfortunately, we don't see the former first-rounder starting all the way through the season.
Since arriving in the NFL in 2019, Jones has played in just one full regular season for the Giants, as injuries have simply plagued him. From having injuries to his knee, neck, ankle and hamstring, it quite simply has been a struggle for Jones to stay on the field for an entire season. It would not be a surprise for him to go down again, which pains us to say.
Jones is in a make-or-break campaign and the Giants are surely going to keep his 2025 injury guarantee in the back of their minds too. While people would love to see him return to his 2022 form and ball out from start to finish this campaign, we don't see it happening - expect Drew Lock to see the field in '24 at some point.
