After the NY Giants were able to pull out a close win over the New England Patriots on Sunday, you would have expected the Big Blue faithful to be over the moon with the result. Instead, social media was flooded with people bashing the team. Why? Because it hurt the 2024 NFL Draft stock.

Okay, we get it, there are a lot of Big Blue supporters who are strong believers of 'tank season' and they want to see this team lose each weekend so Joe Schoen can be in the Caleb Williams sweepstakes. However, be real, the players aren't just going to roll over and lose. Veteran cornerback Adoree' Jackson isn't here for any of that noise:

Giants CB Adoree' Jackson is ready to keep helping NY post wins

"We're not really worried too much about that aspect. Obviously we want to win and the opportunity at hand is still at hand - you know, to be able to do something. For us, it's taking it a day at a time and a game at a time. We went out there (to win), they're going to be more happy about that than getting that draft pick. "

This is a very professional response from Jackson and it's a feeling that's shared by others. Jackson and the rest of the Big Blue defense played their tails off this past weekend, playing a massive role in NY winning 10-7 and improving to 4-8 on the campaign.

It's wild to think that this team was one play away from taking down the Bills and they really should have beaten the Jets at home. Had both those games gone in Brian Daboll's favor, the G-Men would be sitting at 6-6 during the BYE week.

Instead, NY is projected to take home the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL Draft with their current 4-8 mark. Regardless of that, Jackson is going to keep playing at a high level, ready to do whatever is needed to help his squad celebrate after a game. Tank talk? Get out of here with that.
