In terms of NFC East showdowns, things were a bit of a nightmare for the NY Giants last season. Big Blue was swept by both Philly and Dallas, which no one wanted to see. After losing to Dallas in Week 3, the two sides faced off again on Thanksgiving Day.

In that mathcup, Micah Parsons was a beast in the trenches, giving the Giants offensive line fits from start to finish. Parsons put on a show and he beat star left tackle Andrew Thomas more than once. Parsons was feeling himself, taking to Twitter to call out Thomas and the Giants.

Big Blue Nation was furious when they saw his post, but what about Thomas? Insider Dan Duggan asked the All-Pro OT about Parsons trolling him, but Thomas didn't hesitate in saying he doesn't care about it at all.

Andrew Thomas isn't worried about Micah Parsons ahead of Sunday

"You see stuff on Twitter, but I’m not focused on that. I’m focusing on getting better every day. I speak with my play. I’m not really much of a talker."

Parsons originally said, 'Heard he was the best!! I stayed on His side all game!!' Parsons didn't mention Thomas, but everyone knew who he was talking about. Come Sunday night in primetime, these two will dance and it should be a fun battle.

Thomas isn't going to come out and say he's hoping to get some revenge on the star pass-rusher, but it sure would be great to see him get that done. Parsons and the Cowboys are feeling confident leading up to Sunday's contest and understandably so.

In recent years, Dallas has dominated this rivalry. Daniel Jones still hasn't beaten Dak Prescott through his first four seasons in the NFL. In Week 1, the Giants have a fantastic opportunity to start the season off with a bang and land the first haymaker of the campaign against the Cowboys. Thomas will be ready to send a message to his rivals as well.
