4. Andrew Thomas fights through the pain to play for the G-Men
The Giants offensive line was able to bounce back against the Cardinals - we don't need to talk about how embarrassing they looked against the Cowboys on Sept. 10. However, Bobby Johnson's men were forced to take the field without All-Pro left tackle Andrew Thomas due to his hamstring injury. Joshua Ezeudu played admirably in his place in Glendale.
Thomas could have tried to push through the pain to take on the Cards, but head man Brian Daboll and Co. made the right call to have him sit this one out. Now, Thomas is feeling much healthier and there's a great chance we see him back in the mix to take on San Francisco. On Tuesday, Coach Dabes said Thomas will be a game-time decision.
If he's unable to go, the Giants will have confidence in Ezeudu to step in again. However, San Francisco's pass-rush is easily one of the best in the game. The Giants are going to need all the help they can get to try and contain Nick Bosa. With that said, Thomas playing in this contest is incredibly important. Luckily, he should be ready to rock.
