We're not envious of NY Giants players who are on the other end of an upset Brian Daboll. No one can ever question this guy's passion for the game, as Coach Dabes is known to be fired up whenever his team is in action. We saw that on Friday early on against the Lions.

To start things off, Giants safety Jason Pinnock got everyone off their seat, intercepting a Nate Sudfeld pass, set up by pressure from Tomon Fox. The G-Men were set with beautiful field position in Detroit territory.

However, backup QB Tyrod Taylor and the offense couldn't take advantage of said field position and the Giants had to settle for a Graham Gano field goal. Daboll hated what he saw, letting the unit have it as they were coming off the field:

The expletives indeed were flying. Daboll was quite angry and we don't blame him. With it being the first preseason game of the year, there's always going to be a lot to work on, but Pinnock set the tone with his strong play.

For the offense to look so sluggish after that play and bring the momentum down - no wonder Daboll was so angry. Perhaps it would have been a little bit different if Daniel Jones and the other offensive starters were out on the field, but Taylor is a veteran of the game too with loads of experience.

Unfortunately for Daboll and offensive coordinator Wink Martindale, the Giants also had to settle for another Gano field goal on the second drive of the contest. The backups will get more comfortable and improve as the preseason goes on, but if they even think about looking that rusty to start a game again, Daboll will be there to provide an earful.
