So, you're saying there's a chance? At first it seemed like NY Giants standout Malik Nabers would be able to work his way back from a concussion in Week 4 and get himself ready to take the field against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field for an important Week 5 clash.

Now, though, things aren't looking great for the elite playmaker. To start the new week, Nabers has missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. It's a race against the clock for him to get cleared and it's feeling unlikely he'll put the pads on and make plays for Daniel Jones.

However, never say never with Brian Daboll. While speaking to the media, Coach Dabes said that no decision on Nabers' status for the weekend has been made and that the G-Men will wait until essentially the last minute to make a call. This really doesn't feel promising, but Daboll isn't ready to close the door on things just yet:

It's up in the air if NY Giants WR Malik Nabers will play vs. Seattle

Nothing about what Daboll had to say on Nabers provided optimism that he'll be healthy enough to play against the NFC West side, but we won't know for sure until the weekend. At this point, Nabers should be considered questionable/doubtful to play. If he can't give things a go, it's going to be a major problem for Jones.

The fact that Devin Singletary is dealing with a groin problem too is a nightmare. If the Giants are without Nabers AND Singletary, Daboll is going to have to get creative with his play-calling, as those two are important pieces for the ground game and passing attack.

With Nabers missing back-to-back sessions, it's feeling unlikely that he's going to be given the clearance to play vs. the Seahawks. Nothing has been made official yet, however, and Daboll clearly wants to do everything possible to get his WR1 out there. Who knows, maybe a pleasant surprise will be on the way, but knowing all the bad luck the Giants have faced with injuries, we're not going to be overly optimistic here.
