The hatred between the NY Giants and Philadelphia Eagles knows no bounds. When it comes to veteran safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, he may no longer be in the City of Brotherly Love, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten about the rivalry.

Gardner-Johnson is now in his first camp with the Detroit Lions, taking on the G-Men during a joint practice on Tuesday. These two teams will go at it once again on Wednesday before facing off in the preseason opener on Friday night.

It's safe to say Gardner-Johnson will be ready to talk a bunch of trash to the NY players. Matter of fact, he's already off to a hot start there, going after cornerback Amani Oruwariye to get things going. Seriously, dude?

C.J. Gardner-Johnson going after the NY Giants isn't a surprise at all

It almost seems like Gardner-Johnson is ready to talk smack to anyone who will listen. In July, a clip of him blasting Eagles fans went viral and people in the city are still upset at him. In case you missed it, Gardner-Johnson said that the Philly faithful were (expletive) obnoxious and that he couldn't stand them.

Oh, there were more expletives thrown in his message for Eagles supporters. After spending the first three years of his career with the Saints, Gardner-Johnson joined Philly for the 2022 campaign, but he then inked with Detroit this offseason.

Gardner-Johnson is hoping to make an impact for his new team, with wasting no time trying to get in people's heads. Unfortunately for the Giants, Daniel Jones and the offense had a rough day against him and Detroit on Tuesday.

However, nothing would make us happier than to see Danny Dimes and Co. bounce back with a huge showing against the Lions during Wednesday's practice. It would go a long way in making Gardner-Johnson quiet down.
