Could the dream pick end up arriving for the NY Giants fanbase after all? With the Giants winning back-to-back games, they're now projected to have the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Because of that spot in the Top 10, the assumption was the G-Men would be out of the hunt for either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.

However, maybe there's some hope after all? In his latest NFL Mock Draft for CBS Sports, Chris Trapasso has the Giants taking LSU wideout Malik Nabers at No. 7, but Williams is going to Tampa Bay at No. 6. Yes, Trapasso has Williams going to a different team, but could Joe Schoen try and trade up for him?

NY Giants fans continue to call for Joe Schoen to be aggressive in the NFL Draft

Despite the NFL Draft being months several months away, fans continue to call out to Schoen to do whatever is necessary to bring in a new signal-caller for the future to take over for the injured Daniel Jones. Even before Jones tore his ACL, people all over NY/New Jersey were tired of DJ.

With the way the season has gone for NY, people are begging for a breath of fresh air to arrive in East Rutherford next spring. There's been a lot of Jayden Daniels speculation of late, especially with him winning the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night.

But let's say the Bears are on the clock at No. 5, after taking Maye No. 1 overall (that's what Trapasso has happening) - could NY leap Tampa Bay at No. 6 and go after Williams? It would cost the Giants multiple other picks, but it'd be more than worth it to get something done with Chicago.

Trappaso has Maye off the board at No. 1 overall, Daniels gone at No. 2 to the Patriots and then Williams finally being taken at No. 6. He'd be a dream get for Bucs fans, but we sure would love it if Schoen ruined everyone's day with a trade up for him.
