Watch Colin Cowherd slam the NY Giants and claim they're 'trapped'
It has been a long offseason of Colin Cowherd bashing the NY Giants. He's not a fan of Big Blue entering the 2023 campaign and he has made that more than clear on multiple occasions. In his latest clip calling out the G-Men, he really didn't hold back.
Cowherd claims that the Giants are 'stuck' with Daniel Jones as the team's starting quarterback, while he doesn't think Big Blue will sniff the postseason. Not only that, but with the way the roster is constructed right now, Cowherd has gone as far as to say that the NFC East side is 'trapped.'
Colin Cowherd has no faith in the NY Giants ahead of the 2023 season
With the over/under being set for 7.5 wins for New York this campaign, Cowherd confidently said that he's going with the under, predicting the Giants to finish the year 7-10. This would be a major disappointment for Brian Daboll and Co., especially after they went 9-7-1 in 2022.
After how strong the Giants looked at times last season, fans are hoping for a double-digit win year and a return trip to the playoffs. With Darren Waller, Parris Campbell, Bobby Okereke and other additions making their way to East Rutherford, expectations will be high for this squad.
With Jones in particular, there's going to be a lot of pressure on him after he signed his $160 million contract - this is something Cowherd has been slamming the Giants about for a while now. Jones has a long list of haters, including Cowherd, who are hoping he fails in '23.
Leading up to Week 1, the hot takes about how bad the Giants are going to be this season will only continue. Don't be surprised to see Cowherd keep running his mouth against Big Blue. It seems to be one of his favorite things to do.
