If you thought Skip Bayless getting some new friends on his show would lead to better takes, we're sorry to inform you that's not the case. Leave it to Cowboys great Michael Irvin to get your blood boiling with the season-opener almost here.

While appearing on 'Undisputed' recently, Irvin was asked about the Sunday Night Football showdown between the NY Giants and Dallas. Irvin didn't hesitate in saying the G-Men got better, but he called out the aerial attack quite a bit, saying he's not threatened at all by the improvements at receiver.

Not only that, but Irvin isn't scared about the Giants one bit. He pretty much is guaranteeing a Dallas win at MetLife Stadium, saying the only way the Giants can maybe pull a victory off is if both Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush get injured. Is Irvin serious right now with this horrible take?

The NY Giants are hoping to upset the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1

Keyshawn Johnson couldn't believe how confident Irvin was. For once in his life, Bayless looked speechless too. At the end of the day, Dallas is favored to take down New York, but we think Irvin is in for a rude awakening.

Daniel Jones is calm leading up to the action, but he's also no stranger to people doubting him and his teammates. Irvin is a Dallas homer, which is understandable. He was a beast for the Cowboys during his playing days, helping the NFC East side capture three Super Bowls.

With his love for Dallas, it's no surprise that he's going to take any chance he can get to bash the Giants. Hey, we don't blame him for that. However, Jones, Saquon Barkley, Darren Waller, Jalin Hyatt and more will be ready to shut Irvin up.

Prescott is 10-2 against the Giants - he hasn't suffered a loss against the G-Men since this rookie season. Jones himself is 1-6 against Dallas, but Irvin has now provided him with even more of a reason to hand Dallas a needed L this weekend.
