We didn't have Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and NY Giants wideout Malik Nabers developing a social media beef this offseason, but hey, sometimes life throws you curveballs. Things got started when Nabers said the matchup with Diggs is the one he's looking forward to the most in 2024.

Nabers added some fuel to the fire by also hinting he's going to own Diggs when they meet. This is something the veteran Dallas defensive back saw and wasn't too happy about. In response, Diggs went ahead and reminded everyone that America's Team has dominated Big Blue in recent seasons:

Trevon Diggs is not happy with Malik Nabers for calling him out

Oh yeah, Diggs went there. Dallas took down NY twice last campaign, including the embarrassing 40-0 defeat during Week 1 action at MetLife Stadium. Brian Daboll is 0-4 vs. Dallas as the Giants leader and the G-Men have lost nine of their last 10 games vs. Dallas - yeah, it's been bad.

Despite that, Nabers isn't going to back down from anyone and he's excited about the opportunity to line up across from Diggs. Come Sept. 26, these two teams will face off for the first time in 2024, with a Thursday Night Football showdown on the way.

Nabers is going to hope to back up his trash talk, while Diggs is surely going to look to make him pay for trying to poke the bear. A healthy Daniel Jones could help Nabers make Diggs look silly, but we'll find out more about Danny Dimes' status once training camp gets here.

Everyone in East Rutherford will hope that Nabers will be able to 'cook' Diggs that night. Could you imagine if the Giants' first-round pick posts 100 yards and a touchdown while facing the Cowboys? He'd surely roast the Dallas veteran on social media afterwards.

Hey, it's something we're hoping goes down, but Diggs will be ready to answer the call. This rivalry should be a fun one to follow this fall, and things are already heating up.
