Whenever NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones shows emotion, it's amazing to see. Normally pretty mild mannered and sometimes emotionless in the past, Jones was FIRED up on Sunday in the second half during the thrilling comeback win over the Cardinals.

On one Jones touchdown, he let all the anger out. This included delivering a wicked headbutt to star tight end Darren Waller. The former Pro Bowler was asked about Danny Dimes delivering said headbutt and Waller was all for it. If it comes after a Jones TD, hey, keep them coming:

Darren Waller didn't mind getting a Daniel Jones headbutt at all

"I'm all for it. That's a headbutt I'll willingly receive. That's just being in the moment and enjoying a big play."

Darren Waller

Waller couldn't help but laugh and showcase a big smile while talking about what happened and we don't blame him. After everything the Giants went through on Sunday, you also can't blame Jones for having such a great reaction to his big play.

This was a game where the G-Men were once down 20-0. At halftime, plenty of people were not only ready to give up on the game, but plenty of NY supporters had already called 2023 a lost season. However, led by Jones' incredible second half, a 31-28 victory was recorded.

Jalin Hyatt was incredible for the Giants after the break, but Waller also had his best game of the young season. He led the team with his six receptions, while finishing second to Hyatt with 76 yards. This was the kind of breakout game folks were hoping for out of Waller.

Now that Saquon Barkley is injured for the next three weeks, the passing game is going to need to be better than ever over the next few games. With that, Waller is going to have to be a focal point for the offense. He and Jones will look to deliver more big plays - and we wouldn't mind seeing another headbutt or two in the end zone.
