Never a doubt! Goodness, it looked like the NY Giants were going to fall to 0-2 on the year, with the Arizona Cardinals dominating play in the first half. Fans across the globe had basically given up on the Giants. However, Daniel Jones and Co. never stopped believing.

In heart-stopping fashion, the Giants were able to come all the way back and post a 31-28 victory over the Cards. So, 24 unanswered points by the Giants to get the job done? Oh, you better believe it. This was the textbook definition of a thriller. Here are our takeaways from the incredible action.

5. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley came up huge for this team

This is what we're talking about. With the offense looking terrible in the first half, head man Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka decided to put the ball in the hands of their best playmakers: Danny Dimes and Saquon Barkley. These are the two best players on offense, outside of Andrew Thomas, for Big Blue and they proved it in the second half.

For Jones, goodness, he has silenced a lot of his haters out there. Jones put this team on his back in the final 30 minutes of action, helping them record the unforgettable win. On the day, Jones tossed for 321 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 59 yards and another score on the ground. That's how you do it.

With Barkley, he had a terrible drop in the first half that led to another Jones interception. This was infuriating, but No. 26 was able to bounce back in the best way possible. He rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown. He also added six receptions for 29 yards and another score. Without those two players, there's no chance NY would have come from behind to improve to 1-1.

Also on Barkley, we must keep our fingers crossed that he's not seriously hurt. On one of the last plays of the game, Barkley hobbled off the field with what looked to be an ankle injury. He slammed his helmet in frustration, making it seem like he'll likely miss the showdown vs. the 49ers. Let's hope to get some good news on him soon, though.
