Throughout the season, NY Giants rookie cornerback Deonte Banks has locked up some of the best wide receivers in the game. Taken with the No. 24 overall pick, it's feeling like the Giants got a MAJOR steal in taking the Maryland product where they did.

You think Banks is still feeling a bit disrespected about where he landed in the NFL Draft? You better believe it. After keeping Terry McLaurin in check in Week 11, Banks raced to social media after the win to call out McLaurin and the Commanders in an NSFW rant. Banks did not hold back AT ALL here:

Deonte Banks trolls Terry McLaurin after another strong showing for the Giants CB

Tell us how you really feel, Deonte. Banks was a superstar for the University of Maryland, but the Commanders passed on him at No. 16 overall, going with cornerback Emmanuel Forbes instead. They're surely regretting that decision.

Forbes has been a first-round bust thus far this campaign, while Banks is looking like one of the best rookies out there. McLaurin wasn't able to make an impact at all in this game, with him being kept to only five receptions for 47 yards.

Banks didn't record an interception or anything, but it's clear that QBs are scared to try and throw on him. If they do, he's going to do everything he can to make sure the ball falls to the turf and a big gain is avoided. Who knew the first-year DB was so angry with Washington passing on him too?

That decision has proven to be gold for Joe Schoen and the Giants, as Banks is turning into a lockdown CB for this team. Yes, the Giants are 3-8 on the year and they haven't had a lot to celebrate, but they went a perfect 2-0 vs. Washington in 2023. This is a win the players will celebrate for a few days, especially Banks. He clearly can't wait to suit up to take on the Commanders again.
