Anger reached a new level for the NY Giants on Sunday in the loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Teammates were arguing on the sideline, Saquon Barkley was miserable, Wink Martindale and Brian Daboll weren't on the same page - the list goes on.

However, after the final whistle, headlines were made after it was reported that Dexter Lawrence refused to speak to the media following the 49-17 defeat. This was unreal and people were not happy with Sexy Dexy. With that said, the All-Pro defensive tackle cleared the air on what happened:

Dexter Lawrence explained what happened after the Giants loss to Dallas

Per Lawrence, he wasn't trying to be disrespectful at all. Rather, he was simply trying to go spend some time with his family since it was his birthday and he didn't have a lot of time to do so after the game. This wasn't a case of Lawrence trying to duck questions after a brutal loss.

Lawrence was quick to say that he always speaks to reporters and that he wasn't trying to do anything wrong in Dallas. He was just trying to make his way to his family. Nothing else to see here.

It was nice of Lawrence to let everyone know what happened, but he really didn't need to in the first place. The whole situation was blown out of proportion, especially since it came after the Giants were embarrassed on the road against the Cowboys.

This was a game to forget for the G-Men, but we don't need to make things worse by creating some sort of fake story about Lawrence being an issue inside of the locker room or something. This was just a case of him trying to get out of said locker room as quickly as possible to connect with his loved ones, period.
