Is this some kind of a sick joke? The NY Giants just put together a brilliant drive on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. Taking things down to the one, it looked like the G-Men were going to go up 7-0 at Lumen Field.

On 4th down, Brian Daboll decided to gamble and give running back Eric Gray a shot to score his first touchdown of the campaign. He reached to try and complete the play, but the ball slipped out of his hands, he fumbled and Seattle took it back 101 yards. Are you freaking kidding right now? Only this would happen to the Giants:

Eric Gray continues to hurt the NY Giants with his turnovers

This really was as close as it could get. Some fans think Gray actually scored and the refs screwed the G-Men, but that wasn't the case. We understand trying to get over the line, but Gray simply has to be smarter than this. As a whole, Giants RBs have been too careless with the ball.

Devin Singletary is out for this one with a groin injury, but he also had two fumbles in the first four games of the year. His turnover against the Commanders was back-breaking. Gray is also costing his team big, which can't happen. Remember his fumble on the opening kickoff against the Browns? Luckily, the Giants were able to overcome that and post a thrilling road win in Cleveland.

The Giants entered the Week 5 tilt in Seattle as underdogs and they need to play clean football if they want to keep things close. Gifting the Seahawks a free touchdown like this is not only unfortunate, but it's downright infuriating too. These mistakes are the ones good teams don't make. Right now, the Giants clearly are not a good team.
