This isn't going to lead to anything good. Seriously, what is Evan Neal thinking trying to go after the fanbase? One of the biggest storylines for the NY Giants this year has been the terrible play from Neal, who was expected to make a big jump in 2023.

That hasn't been the case, with the former No. 7 overall pick somehow looking worse through the first four games of the campaign. In the Monday Night Football loss to the Seahawks, Neal had multiple plays that belong on SportsCenter's Not Top 10, which led to people at MetLife letting him have it.

Neal made it quite clear that he heard those boos. According to Darryl Slater of NJ Advance Media, the starting right tackle blasted the Big Blue supporters for being fair weather fans. Some of his comments will infuriate people in New York and New Jersey more than his play has:

Evan Neal ripping Giants fans after his MNF performance is a terrible look

Yeah, this feels like a massive mistake. Neal struggled all night against the Seahawks, leading the team with seven pressures allowed on Daniel Jones. The offensive line as a whole played brutal, causing for Jones to have a nightmare performance.

Neal's play has been so bad this year, plenty of fans are calling - no they're begging head man Brian Daboll to remove him from his RT spot and put him at guard. Neal spent the offseason working his tail off to get better, which was commendable. However, no results have been showcased.

Earlier this season, Kayvon Thibodeaux took issue with Giants fans and Xavier McKinney also made some questionable comments on Monday night after the final whistle. The last thing Giants players should be doing is trying to start some sort of a battle with people in the stands.

This is a rough look for Neal, especially after the way he performed in Week 4. Also, trying to bring down someone who makes hamburgers and hot dogs to pay the bills? Be better, young man.
