We're guessing you probably saw it by now, but former NY Giants star running back Saquon Barkley put on a total show in his first game with the Philadelphia Eagles. Barkley scored two touchdowns in the first half and then closed out his hat-trick in the third quarter. He was about a foot away from scoring a fourth late in the action.

For a lot of Giants fans, they hated seeing Barkley play so well for one of Big Blue's most-hated rivals. For others, though, they are wishing him well for every game this season, just not when he plays the Giants. Former NY superstar Odell Beckham Jr. was all for Barkley balling out, showing him a ton of love on social media in the middle of the action:

Beckham and Barkley are incredibly close, as they became pretty much best friends while they were playing together for the G-Men. Few people have forgotten about the magic they were able to record on the field together. While their time with Big Blue didn't last long, it was still a lot of fun to watch.

The veteran receiver has since suited up for the Rams and Ravens, while he's currently trying to work his way back from an injury that will keep him off the field for the first four games of the season for the Miami Dolphins. Beckham's level of play has not matched what he got done with Big Blue.

It's still super early, but Barkley is trending in a different direction. In the thrilling win over Green Bay to start the new campaign, No. 26 rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns - he added another score through the air from Jalen Hurts.

People all over New York and New Jersey know how great Saquon can be when he's healthy and working behind a solid offensive line. This is something OBJ is fully aware of too. Barkley is looking primed to post a memorable year. Unfortunately, it's going to be with Philly and not with New York.
