Major changes are coming for the NY Giants next season, as a shake-up is needed for the roster. While the team has looked fantastic in recent weeks during the three-game winning streak, that doesn't take away from the fact that several guys on both sides of the ball have been disappointments.

When you talk about disappointing guys for 2023, you of course have to bring up veteran wideout Parris Campbell. When he was signed by general manager Joe Schoen during the offseason, people were hyped to see what he could do for this team.

However, Campbell has failed to do much of anything for the offense and his season reached a new low point against the Packers. That's because Campbell was a healthy scratch for Monday Night Football. Yeah, that's not something that anyone was expecting for him at this point of the fall:

Giants WR Parris Campbell was not happy he was scratched for Monday's showdown

On one side of things, yes, it's understandable that Campbell was ticked off with the coaching staff and front office that he was kept off the gridiron for the primetime win vs. the Packers. However, the numbers don't lie - Campbell just hasn't gotten the job done.

On the campaign, the wideout has been held to 20 receptions for 104 yards and no touchdowns in 12 games. Campbell had a career year for the Colts in 2022, posting 63 receptions for 623 yards and three scores. After how he looked last year, the expectations were quite high for him with the G-Men.

Campbell was brought in on a one-year contract. If he's healthy and not even active for games, it tells you that the writing is on the wall for his future with the team. This was supposed to be a prove-it year for Campbell, but everything that could go wrong, has. Schoen and Co. surely won't re-sign him this winter. Campbell will have to find a new team to give him a shot to make plays for. He just never was able to take off for Brian Daboll.
