4. Parris Campbell

If there is one player who has been a massive disappointment, it’s been Parris Campbell.

When the Giants signed him as a free agent and brought him over from the Indianapolis Colts, everyone thought Campbell would step up and play a big role in the offense. That hasn’t been the case at all.

Campbell has 20 catches, but for just 104 yards and no touchdowns. Six of those 20 catches came in the Week 3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in which Campbell posted only 24 yards. The Giants have tried to use Campbell’s athleticism and speed to throw wide receiver screens his way and let Campbell make things happen, but they haven’t. In Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots, Campbell saw one catch for -2 yards.

It’s been that kind of season for Campbell and to say that he’s been a disappointment is an understatement. At this point going forward, if the Giants want to try and use the wide receiver screen passes, they should go to Hyatt. Campbell is not cut out for this team and the offense anymore.
