Frustrating NY Giants lineman has been an absolute beast the past 2 games

The veteran guard has definitely stepped his game up for Brian Daboll

Just what in the world is Bobby Johnson doing with his offensive linemen? Whatever the NY Giants OL coach has done since after the loss to the Miami Dolphins - let's hope he keeps on doing more of the same. Despite plenty of shifting, we've seen a huge improvement from the guys up front.

Among the notable playmakers who have stepped up their level of play has no question been right guard Mark Glowinski. In the 14-7 win over the Commanders on Sunday, No. 64 was a monster up front protecting Tyrod Taylor and opening up holes for Saquon Barkley. We've got to give this guy his props.

Mark Glowinski has been sensational for the NY Giants over the past two games

According to Pro Football Focus, Glowinski has allowed only one pressure and ZERO sacks in 79 pass-blocking snaps combined in Week 6 and Week 7. Yeah, that's freakin' unreal from the 6-4, 310-pounder. Remember how bad Glowinski looked in Week 1 vs. Dallas?

He was a nightmare on the right side of the line along with Evan Neal and was a big reason the offense wasn't able to do anything positive in the 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Because of his poor play, Glowinski was benched for Week 2 against the Cardinals, with Marcus McKethan getting the start at right guard.

Due to injuries all over the place for the Giants offensive line, Glowinski's trip to the sidelines was short lived, with him back at his usual spot. The G-Men have needed him to play up to his potential, with him doing just that against the Bills in Week 6 and then vs. Washington in Week 7.

With Glowinski and the rest of the line doing their job, the Giants are now 2-5 on the year. Glowinski and Co. were a force against the Commanders and that will need to be the case once again vs. the Jets this Sunday afternoon. Fans were calling for Glowinski to be released not long ago, but goodness, that's no longer the case.
