Easily one of the biggest fan favorites on the NY Giants entering the 2023 campaign is without question defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence. The man known as Sexy Dexy enters the new season with a $90 million extension to his name.

As happy as Lawrence is about his new deal, he's all about helping the Giants take their game to the next level this season. Now entering his fifth campaign, Lawrence sounds like he wants New York to not only silence their haters, but also to help the team go on a deep run in the postseason. Will Lawrence and Co. be able to get the job done?

Dexter Lawrence has a tremendous mindset for the Giants during camp

Lawrence experienced some lean years during his first three campaigns with the Giants, but that was forgotten in 2022 with NY going 9-7-1 during the regular season, plus a Wild Card Round over the Vikings in Minnesota.

However, there were some disappointing results, going 0-3 vs. the Eagles, including the Divisional Round hammering suffered in Philly. That's still fresh on Lawrence's mind, but he's ready to help the G-Men get some revenge on the Eagles, while also making sure this team posts another memorable season in '23.

Deonte Banks showing rookie struggles early on

Elsewhere for the Giants, there are certainly going to be plenty of eyes on No. 24 overall pick Deonte Banks. The first-round pick will have a lot of pressure to live up to the hype. With that said, things were far from perfect for him during Thursday's session.

Banks was able to bounce back with some strong plays too, including breaking up a pass intended for Isaiah Hodgins. Banks is in his first camp in the NFL, so of course there's going to be some inconsistency. However, we fully expect the youngster to keep on getting better leading up to Week 1.
