3. OG Dalton Risner

The New York Giants addressed a major need for the offensive line when they picked John Michael Schmitz in the second round of the draft. Schmitz will likely be the Giants starting center, but the left guard position is still something that the Giants could look to address, which is where Dalton Risner comes in.

Risner finished a four-year stint with the Denver Broncos, who selected him in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, and remains a free agent after the first wave of free agency. A year ago, left guard was a bit of a revolving door with Ben Bredeson and Nick Gates, plus Joshua Ezeudu, who is returning from a neck injury that put him on the shelf last year.

The Giants could look to handle this with the internal options still on the team. But Risner, who is still an asset in pass blocking, could be a help to a Giants offensive line that definitely needs it. Depth for the offensive line is something Schoen will always want to address. Bringing in someone like Risner could really help out the unit.
