Hey Stefon Diggs, we don't have to tell you that East Rutherford is beautiful this time of year. For the past few days, there's been plenty of speculation surrounding Diggs as he wasn't on hand for the first day of mandatory minicamp for the Bills.
Then, a cryptic tweet from Diggs only got people talking even more about his future with the team. While Diggs showed up for minicamp on Wednesday, it's clear that something is going on with him and the organization. Could this lead to a trade?
You never know what might end up happening, but we can't rule a move out right now. With that said, Chris Simms knows that several teams would surely be interested in trying to land his services - and he has mentioned the Giants as a squad that would make sense for Diggs.
Could the NY Giants end up trading for Stefon Diggs?
So, you're saying there's a chance, Mr. Simms? At the end of the day, Diggs is one of the best wideouts in the game and he'd surely be the WR1 for the NY Giants if a miracle arrives and Joe Schoen is able to pull something off. Let's keep in mind that it would cost quite a bit for the Giants to get him.
One thing to keep in mind is that Diggs has a fantastic relationship with both Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll, though. When Daboll was announced as the Coach of the Year winner, Diggs was right there to congratulate Coach Dabes for the incredile honor. They're clearly still quite close.
They're familiar with one another from Daboll's day running the offense in Buffalo. Again, it's going to take a lot for the Giants to land Diggs and it feels like a long shot at this point. However, never say never here.
