As you might have been able to guess, not a lot of people think the NY Giants have what it takes to beat the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 4 matchup. The primetime lights of Thursday Night Football are going to shine bright on the G-Men, as they're the home team in this one. Can Daniel Jones power this team to an upset win?
We hope so, but don't pitch that idea to Jeff Saturday. The former stud offensive lineman, who was also briefly the head coach of the Colts, isn't high on NY leading up to kickoff. Matter of fact, he went as far as to say the Giants have 'no chance' to come out on top. Seriously?
Giants haters are out in full force ahead of Thursday Night Football
It'd be one thing if the Cowboys were a perfect 3-0, but Dak Prescott and Co. have looked far from perfect early on this campaign. Dallas has limped its way to a 1-2 record, something not a lot of fans thought would be the case for them leading up to the first dance with Big Blue.
Meanwhile on the other side of the field, the Giants are also 1-2, but come on, if they had a healthy kicker vs. Washington, they'd 100 percent be 2-1. This squad is also coming off a thrilling road win over the Browns in Week 3.
Brian Daboll is 0-4 vs. the Cowboys as head coach of the G-Men, which is something he needs to change as soon as possible. Jones is going to look to throw the ball early and often to Malik Nabers, but with rain showers expected in East Rutherford, focusing on the run game could prove to be brilliant for the offense.
The Ravens ran all over the Cowboys last week, with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry putting on a show in Arlington. The Giants will rely on Devin Singletary and Tyrone Tracy Jr. to lead the ground game. Something tells us this is going to be a close battle and NY will be in a position late to steal a win. Saturday is all in on Dallas, but the G-Men will try to make him eat his words.
