This is going to be a topic of conversation throughout the week. In Sunday's deflating 40-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, the NY Giants for some odd reason decided to keep playing Daniel Jones in the fourth quarter - even with Dallas up 40. On social media, countless fans were questioning Brian Daboll.

In the post-game presser, Daboll said he was trying to get something positive going despite what was on the scoreboard. Sorry, but that was a huge mistake and he was putting Jones at risk of getting injured. He was taking a beating as it was.

Cowboys pass-rusher Micah Parsons was living in the backfield vs. NY, sacking Jones once and applying a ton of pressure on him. Even he couldn't believe the Giants kept Jones out on the field so late in the game. Parsons think the G-Men should have done a better job protecting Danny Dimes and we agree with him here:

Micah Parsons thinks the Giants failed in protecting Daniel Jones

"It's called protecting your guy - something I thought the Giants should have done. I don't think Daniel Jones should have been in that game in the fourth quarter. I thought they should have protected him and pulled him out."

Parsons went on to say that if Jones gets injured, Big Blue's season would be done. Luckily, despite Jones being thrown to the ground so many times, he was able to escape without suffering any kind of an injury. However, he's probably pretty darn sore right now.

On the night, the Dallas pass-rush made the Giants offensive line look like a bunch of middle school players, sacking Jones a head-turning seven times. The play of the OL was inexcusable and Daboll had to be furious with their effort.

Parsons and the fellow Dallas studs up front reminded everyone how there's still a long way to go for the NY offense. With that said, the next time the Giants are in a blowout game - either winning or losing - Daboll needs to be smarter with his $160 million QB. There's no reason for him to be playing when the game has already been decided.
