Just because they're rivals on the field, that doesn't mean that Micah Parsons doesn't respect NY Giants running back Saquon Barkley. It looks like that Penn State brotherhood knows no limits, especially on social media.

Parsons went after an NY fan after he tried going after Barkley's second half of the campaign. Parsons not only ripped his take to shreds, but he also called for Giants general manager Joe Schoen to give him a long-term deal. This is not something we expected to see from the Cowboys pass-rusher at all.

Micah Parsons wants to see Saquon Barkley get his payday from the Giants

Barkley posted a career-high 1,312 rushing yards this past season. No. 26 returned to his Pro Bowl level and it was incredible to see. However, it looks like not everyone was impressed with how the season ended for the standout running back.

Parsons saw first hand just how great Barkley is with the ball in his hands when NY and Dallas faced off twice in '22. As good as Barkley was in the regular season, his two-touchdown performance vs. the Vikings in the Wild Card Round is still being talked about.

However, as soon as the campaign came to a close, all eyes were on Schoen to make Saquon happy with a new contract. Instead, the Giants finalized a four-year deal with Daniel Jones for $160 million, while Barkley was placed on the non-exclusive franchise tag.

With Barkley set to make $10.1 million next season, that clearly isn't good enough for him. Earlier this week, it was revealed that Barkley won't sign his tender and he'll miss the start of the offseason program. That's not good for Schoen. A lot of people are calling for Schoen to try and prioritize an extension with Barkley. Clearly, Parsons wants to see it happen as well.
