New angle of Saquon Barkley run shows the offensive line looking like a JV squad

The Giants offensive line continues to let the team down each and every week

Stop us if you've heard this before, but the NY Giants offensive line has been a joke this season. While Andrew Thomas is a beast, the rest of the make-shift group has been a total disappointment in 2023 and things somehow got worse for them in the 49-17 drubbing vs. the Cowboys.

Down in the red zone, star running back Saquon Barkley took a direct snap and he had nothing but green space in front of him thanks to a great play call. However, Giants offensive guard Marcus McKethan was completely lost and managed to get in Barkley's way. How does this even happen?

Marcus McKethan is getting ripped on social media for a terrible play vs. Dallas

We hate to single McKethan out, but come on dude, what in the world are you doing here? Barkley very well could have scored a touchdown on this play, but McKethan stopped him in his tracks. Barkley tried to get around him, but it was too little, too late.

This latest clip just adds to the embarrassment for the Giants offense. The New York O ranks dead last in the NFL with its 11.8 points per game. Dallas put on a show in this contest, with signal-caller Dak Prescott throwing for 404 yards and four touchdowns, while adding a rushing score.

Barkley did his best to try and keep the Giants in this game, but the G-Men needed a miracle (which never came) to try and keep this one close. Unfortunately for New York, another tough road contest is on the way this weekend against the Commanders.

Tommy DeVito will start for the second consecutive week, but people aren't expecting much out of him. We can only hope the offensive line does its job in protecting DeVito and opening up holes for Barkley, but who knows if that will happen or not. As for McKethan, he's simply got to be better than this.
