A little off-field drama for a star NY Giants receiver? We've seen this movie before. When it comes to No. 6 overall pick Malik Nabers, his personal life is going to be under a microscope now that he's playing in the New York market.

Over the weekend, a video of Nabers at a club went viral and people are already quick to throw the first-round pick under the bus. Hey, we're not going to get into that in this piece. Instead, we're going to focus on Nabers looking noticeably bigger and running with blazing speed in a new workout clip that is also making the rounds on social media. Try and watch this without being left favorably impressed:

Giants WR Malik Nabers appears to have put on some size this offseason

In that clip above, a bigger Nabers is flying on the field and showcasing pristine hands too. He appears to be focused on getting his body right for his first NFL training camp, with the preseason around the corner as well.

A quick look online shows haters going after his character for throwing money at the club. This is something you already know general manager Joe Schoen and head man Brian Daboll will be talking about with him.

Nabers didn't break any laws, but he's being labeled as a troublemaker and someone the Giants shouldn't have used a Day 1 pick on. Seriously? Did he make a mistake? Absolutely - he shouldn't have been in a position to have himself filmed in this fashion, as it's a bit of a bad look for the organization. We won't argue with that.

However, as long as Nabers is taking care of business leading up to camp and making sure he's ready to turn heads there, the preseason and then once Week 1 rolls around, then folks should have nothing to complain about.

He impressed at OTAs and minicamp with some great grabs. More of that will be on the way soon too. Don't let one clip from him out at night take away from the fact that this kid has tremendous potential in 2024 and beyond.
