Seemingly out of nowhere, the NY Giants can't be topped. After starting the year 2-8 and projected to have a Top 5 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the G-Men have won three consecutive games and now they're focused on sneaking into the playoffs. Oh, how things have changed.

While all the winning of late has been awesome to see, the people who were calling for Big Blue to tank could not be more furious, especially with New York slipping in terms of its draft spot. Following the Monday Night Football win over the Packers, the Giants now hold the No. 8 pick for Round 1:

NY Giants currently hold the No. 8 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft

With that No. 8 spot, there's surely no way the Giants would even come close to selecting either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. Luckily for the Giants fans who are hoping for a quarterback to be taken in the first round, there are other options.

The list of course includes Michigan's JJ McCarthy and LSU's Jayden Daniels. Daniels has been mocked to the Giants quite a bit over the past month and the buzz on his kid is only growing after he won the Heisman Trophy.

Daniels looks like the real deal, which is why some folks are dreaming of him making his way to East Rutherford next April. However, if the Giants keep winning, they're only going to keep falling in the draft order. On one side of things, yes, the wins will impact the draft.

However, these players aren't working their tails off during the week at practice and then on Sundays during games to care about where Joe Schoen will be on the clock on draft night. Instead, they want to keep turning heads and find a way to make the playoffs. The order will surely change over the final four games of the season, but NY very well could fall out of the Top 10 if they keep on posting Ws.
