1. OT Andrew Thomas

Giants fans were devastated to see Andrew Thomas get hurt against the Cowboys in Week 1 and miss the team's victory against Arizona in Week 2. However, following a week to rest, it seems like Thomas could be back and ready for action. At least, we hope he is, as the Niners pass-rush is far too elite for a player like Joshua Ezeudu to handle.

This is no slander toward Ezeudu, as he looked incredibly solid as Thomas' replacement vs. Arizona. However, we're talking about Nick Bosa, one of, if not the best pass-rushers in the entire NFL. This is the kind of player the Giants need to have Thomas contain. He may have gone down with a hamstring injury, but it seems less significant than Ojulari's and there's a real chance that Thomas is back on Thursday night.

It honestly seemed as if there was a real chance that Thomas could have played against the Cardinals. However, the Giants likely wanted to rest him in order for him to be as healthy as possible for this upcoming 49ers matchup. San Fran has arguably the best defense in the NFL and the Giants need all hands on deck if they wish to win.

If the Giants can get their franchise left tackle back in time for such a crucial game, there's no telling what the team could be capable of. While there may be no Ojulari, Bredeson, or Barkley, having a player as elite as Thomas back is going to make a massive difference for the offense, especially Jones. We'll likely find out shortly before kickoff if AT can give things a go.
