This isn't the first time we've seen Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins linked to the NY Giants. It most certainly won't be the last either. Throughout the offseason, a major topic of conversation has been the fact that Brian Daboll doesn't have a true WR1 on his roster.

That could change in a big way if Joe Schoen decides to call the Cincinnati Bengals and make an offer the AFC North side can't refuse. That's what Bleacher Report would like to see happen, as they've listed a Higgins-to-NY move as a 'firework' trade that would transform the NFL this season.

Bleacher Report's Alex Ballentine has the Giants sending Cincy a first-rounder, second-rounder and a 2025 third-rounder in exchange for Higgins. That's a lot, but the stud WR would definitely be worth it.

The NY Giants landing Tee Higgins in a trade would be unreal

"If the Bengals were to trade Higgins so they could continue to build around Burrow and Chase, they would likely be able to get a package similar to the one the Titans got for A.J. Brown. Several teams should be willing to pay a first- and third-rounder for a receiver, but the New York Giants make a lot of sense. They would give the Bengals a chance to trade Higgins out of the conference and (they) should be in the market for a true No. 1 receiver."

While Darius Slayton thinks he can step up as the No. 1 receiver for the Giants in 2023, adding someone like Higgins to the offense would be sensational business for Schoen. Losing a '24 first-rounder would sting, but Higgins would most definitely be worth it.

The Bengals have said on multiple occasions that they're not looking to trade Higgins, but if the right offer was put on the table, how could their front office say no? You never know what might happen leading up to Week 1, plus the NFL trade deadline.

If Higgins ends up finding a new home, plenty of people would love to see him move to New Jersey. He'd be explosive for Daboll, Mike Kafka and the NY offense as a whole.
