Things are still early at NY Giants training camp, but we're starting to get a better look at which players have been solid, and which guys have been struggling. While for the most part, this year's training camp has been a successful one, some players are still disappointing.

There was hope for these players to have standout training camps in order to show they'd be ready to post a strong 2023 campaign. However, they haven't quite lived up to the hype just yet. Will they be able to turn things around this summer?

4. RT Evan Neal

Now, Evan Neal has made multiple strides in order to improve throughout this offseason. This includes working with legendary right tackles in order to improve his form and fixing his diet in order to slim down a bit. Despite this, Neal still hasn't looked all that great throughout training camp and it has us a bit worried.

Neal hasn't been a detriment to the team by any means. However, he's definitely had moments where he's struggled. While this should be taken with a grain of salt considering that it's training camp, it still has us somewhat concerned considering how poor of a rookie season he had.

We're hopeful that training camp will be a fluke and that Neal will be a stud in 2023, but he has to show that he's capable of this first. With the preseason opener coming soon, there will be no shortage of opportunities for Neal to showcase his improvement prior to Week 1 getting here. Neal must prove not only us, but the Giants wrong in '23 in order to be a difference-maker on the team's offense.
