NY Giants disrespected with latest odds for Monday Night Football vs. Seattle

MetLife Stadium is going to be packed for Monday Night Football, as Big Blue Nation cant wait to see the NY Giants try and take down the Seattle Seahawks. NY is 1-2 on the year, while the Seahawks are 2-1 after back-to-back wins over the Lions and Panthers.

Plenty of people in New Jersey have strong belief the New York will be able to post a needed win. However, the oddsmakers don't seem to have too much faith. While the G-Men opened up as 1.5-point favorites, the line is now even. There's a chance Big Blue could be underdogs too leading up to kickoff. Seriously?

What could really help the Giants come Monday night is the fact that several injured players could make their way back. In his latest injury update, head man Brian Daboll said that both left guard Ben Bredeson (concussion) and left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) may be ready to rock.

As for Saquon Barkley, Daboll said the Pro Bowl running back is considered 'day to day' and that he's feeling much better in his recovery from his high-ankle sprain suffered against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. If No. 26 can suit up for MNF, it will be massive for the Giants offense.

We saw just how much the Giants missed Barkley, Bredeson and Thomas in Week 3, as the G-Men couldn't get into any kind of a rhythm against the 49ers in the 30-12 loss. Having all three of them back could make the difference in the showdown vs. the Seahawks.

Seattle is riding high and they've got plenty of confidence leading up to the dance with the Giants. However, New York is going to look to protect its home-field advantage and remind the NFC that they can be a force when they're close to full health. The oddsmakers may not feel confident in the Giants posting a win, but come on, NY will be ready to make a statement.
