Giants fans can't wait for Day 1 of training camp to get here

After a tremendous 2022 campaign in which they won nine games, how will this upcoming season go for the NY Giants and head man Brian Daboll? There are high expectations, with the Giants hoping to get back to the playoffs for the second-straight year.

Fans will get a first look at the offense and defense later this month, with the Giants set to start training camp on July 26. Leading up to that, the rookies will report on July 18, while the veterans will get to town on July 25. In this piece, we have the full schedule for fans to check out:

The NY Giants will start training camp in East Rutherford on July 26

In some good news for the Big Blue faithful, nine practices will be open to the public for fans to check out. Things will indeed get started on July 26 and run through Aug. 5. Come Aug. 8, the Giants will be in Detroit for joint practices with the Lions before their Aug. 11 preseason matchup. As for NY Giants Fan Fest, that's set for Aug. 24, a Thursday night affair with gates opening at 6 p.m.

When it comes to the training camp sessions in East Rutherford, the majority of the pratices will take place at 10 a.m., while there are some 5 p.m. starts sprinkled in as well. With so many new faces on both sides of the ball, some head-turning plays will surely be on the way at camp. Here's the breakdown of the practices:

• July 26 at 10 a.m.
• July 27 at 10 a.m.
• July 28 at 5 p.m.
• July 20 at 10 a.m.
• July 31 at 10 a.m.
• Aug. 1 at 5 p.m.
• Aug. 3 at 10 a.m.
• Aug. 4 at 10 a.m.
• Aug. 5 at 5 p.m.

Leading up to things, NY supporters will be eyeing the July 17 deadline for Saquon Barkley and the front office to finalize a deal. The hope is the pen will be put to paper, and Barkley will have a clear head not only at camp, but throughout the preseason and regular season as well.
