NY Giants inactives list for Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings
Can you believe that game day has arrived for the NY Giants? After months of waiting, Brian Daboll and Co. are set to take the field and they've got a win on their minds going up against Minnesota. The Vikings are road favorites for this one, but the Giants don't care about that - they're ready to prove their haters wrong.
In some solid news for Daboll and his staff, the G-Men are pretty dang healthy. There had been concern on inside linebacker Micah McFadden after he was carted off against the Houston Texans in the preseason, but he was a limited participant in practice and he's questionable. The same can be said for returner Gunner Olszewski. So, who's in and who's out for the first game of the year?

Per the Giants, safety Anthony Johnson, cornerback Tre Hawkins III, pass-rusher Boogie Basham, lineman Jake Kubas and Tommy DeVito are inactive, though DeVito will serve as the emergency QB. With this, it looks like McFadden and Olszewski are good to go.

On the other side of things, the Vikings will be without CB Fabian Moreau, DB Dwight McGlothern, WR Trishton Jackson, DT Levi Drake Rodriguez, DT Jalen Redmond, OT Walter Rouse and QB Brett Rypien, who like DeVito will serve as QB3.
Outside of any injury concerns, there's going to be a lot of intrigue for this meeting. Daboll is taking over as the play-caller for Mike Kafka. So, can we expect more deep shots to be taken downfield? Veteran quarterback Daniel Jones will be looking to make a statement and he now has No. 6 overall pick Malik Nabers at his disposal.
Nabers, who was a stud for LSU, has all the tools to be a superstar for Big Blue. It's going to be on Jones to get him the ball early and often. In order for the Giants to post an upset win, those two will need to be in sync from start to finish in this one at MetLife Stadium.
