1. QB Daniel Jones

The major headline of the Giants' offseason was that the team retained veteran quarterback Daniel Jones after he exceeded expectations under head coach Brian Daboll and helped lead the G-Men to their first playoff appearance in six years.

Last season, Danny Dimes threw for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions while making 16 starts for Big Blue. Jones also finished with a 67.2 percent completion rate. The then fourth-year quarterback accomplished all this with the Giants having depleted resources on offense, including many of the wideouts being injured.

As he enters his fifth professional season, Jones will have much more to prove at the national level as ESPN recently left the 2019 first-round selection off their Top 100 players list. DJ will be loaded with talented offensive weapons, all at full strength, including newly acquired Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller and returning running back Saquon Barkley. The Giants also added more depth at the wide receiver position in Parris Campbell and rookie Jalin Hyatt.

Danny Dimes will have added pressure on him this season, with expectations higher than ever for the Giants to make a playoff run for a second consecutive year, which is something the G-Men last did in 2007 and 2008. It all starts on Sunday night when Jones takes the field at QB1 in front of a sold-out Metlife Stadium against Dallas. He's only beaten the Cowboys once in his career. Let's hope victory No. 2 vs. Dallas will be on the way.
