3. RB Eric Gray
With Saquon Barkley not showing up to OTAs yet due to his enduring contract issues, opportunities for RBs to step up have been made. Despite this, Eric Gray's name has not been talked about much throughout the first few days.
While Gray was catching punts with Jaylin Hyatt and Jackson, we have not heard much out of him in the run game. The age of Matt Breida combined with the inexperience of guys like Gary Brightwell and Jashaun Corbin should make it easy for Gray to get reps as OTAs progress.
Gray was selected in the fifth round of this year's draft and has a promising future in this league. The all-around skillset he showcased at Oklahoma is what most modern running backs are made of. If he shows those skills off at OTAs and preseason, he has a real chance to steal the RB2 spot in the depth chart and be a game-changer for the offense.
There is still plenty of time for Gray to show out in OTAs, but so far he's been much more quiet than we previously expected.
