After two weeks of the preseason, with the third and final game on the way, we're starting to get a better look at what the NY Giants roster could look like by the time of the Aug. 27 deadline. Since our last prediction, the roster has changed a little bit and we now have a better idea of what this squad could look like when the regular season starts.

Some players' stock has gone up, while others have fallen and now are at risk of being cut. Depending on how the preseason finale against the Jets goes, this is what the Giants roster could look like heading into 2024:

Quarterbacks: Daniel Jones, Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito

Having three quarterbacks may sound a little crazy, but given Daniel Jones' questionable play and Drew Lock's injury, there's just no way the Giants should risk putting Tommy DeVito on the practice squad. He hasn't been perfect in the preseason, but compared to Jones and Lock, he's looked like, at the very least, the most consistent quarterback on the roster right now.

We have only seen one half of Jones at QB, and in this time, he threw two completely unacceptable interceptions. As for Lock, he played even less, looked just as bad, and suffered an injury. As for DeVito, he's gone 18-of-34 for 167 yards through two games.

DeVito has looked more than good enough to deserve a spot as a third-string QB on the roster. The two guys ahead of him are far too inconsistent to make cutting DeVito a worthy risk to take. Hopefully, Schoen sees this and keeps DeVito around for the regular season.
